About me
Artistic career
- First encounter with patchwork work in 1993 at a farmers market in the Sauerland.
- Initially, I worked autodidactically with the help of patchwork magazines.
- By 2006, quilts were being created using traditional patchwork techniques. At the same time, I was learning hand printing using wooden models. I was creating my own fabrics.
- Since 2006, focus on art quilt and mixed media techniques.
- This was followed by courses with national and international textile artists to learn different embroidery and dyeing techniques.
